Registered Nurse School Setting in Hephzibah, GA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to support students with critical, complex, and medically fragile needs in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, onsite position follows a contract schedule from ASAP through May 2027. Working closely with a small caseload of 5–10 students, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of children who require specialized nursing care throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia RN license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing highly valued
• Ability to support students with critical, complex, and medically fragile needs
• Familiarity with G-tube feedings, trach-dependent care, and suctioning preferred
• Skilled in seizure/epilepsy monitoring and management preferred
• Full-time commitment with on-site attendance during school hours
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care, including G-tube feedings, trach care, suctioning, and seizure monitoring
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records
• Respond swiftly to student-specific medical needs throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and student families to develop and implement health support plans
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for student health and safety practices
• Ensure compliance with all nursing protocols and documentation standards
