School Registered Nurse (RN) in Hilliard, OH

For the fall months of October through December, you would be assisting 1-2 days per week from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm. Starting in January, the schedule transitions to Monday-Friday, maintaining morning hours. As the school continues to assess medical needs, there is the potential for expanded hours in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid in Ohio.
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of common childhood conditions and relevant interventions.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families.
• Ability to manage emergencies and calmly respond to evolving medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a student during school hours, including medication administration, monitoring, and responding to immediate health needs.
• Partner with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure consistent care and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of services, observations, and interventions.
• Support student inclusion in educational and social activities.
• Flexibly assist as health needs evolve or as additional hours become available.
