Job Title: Part-Time School Nurse (LPN or RN)

Position Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time School Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our student services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, promote health and wellness, and contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed.

• Administer and document medications and treatments according to district policy and state regulations.

• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.

• Conduct health screenings and monitor immunization compliance.

• Assist with the management of chronic health conditions and individualized health plans.

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health needs.

• Monitor communicable diseases and assist in health education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

• Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive weekly pay: $40 – $52 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
