Registered Nurse School Setting - Hopkins, MN

A K-12 school in Hopkins, MN is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing services throughout the contract school year (CSY). This role focuses on promoting the health, safety, and well-being of students while supporting the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care tailored to the needs of students across grades K-12
• Administer medications, manage health plans, and monitor chronic conditions
• Conduct health screenings and assessments, identifying and addressing health concerns
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and learning
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or medical intervention as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Educate staff and students on health promotion and disease prevention strategies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN licensure eligible for practice in Minnesota
• Prior experience in school nursing or a similar pediatric nursing setting
• Knowledge of student health needs, developmental stages, and school health policies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within a school environment
