Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Minnesota
• Experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency protocols
• Proficient in health assessments, medication administration, and documentation
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Compassionate, flexible, and able to respond calmly in urgent situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess student health needs and deliver nursing interventions as appropriate
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized healthcare plans
• Administer prescription and over-the-counter medications, following physician orders and district policies
• Document health services provided and maintain accurate, confidential records
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care or first aid
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, families, and school personnel
