Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in New Jersey
• Prior nursing experience; school nursing or pediatric background preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification, with strong knowledge of current protocols
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and educational staff
• Ability to work independently, prioritize needs, and adapt in a school environment
• Familiarity with health documentation and confidential record-keeping

Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Administer routine and emergency medical care to students and staff
• Perform health screenings, manage medication administration, and maintain accurate health records
• Provide guidance to students on health and wellness, chronic condition management, and preventative care
• Communicate with families and collaborate with faculty to coordinate care plans
• Respond to urgent health situations with professionalism and speed
• Support health education and promote a safe learning environment for all
