Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric settings strongly preferred

• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency procedures
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with staff, students, and families

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of acute and chronic health issues
• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.), and maintain accurate health records
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans in partnership with families and educational staff
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in crisis interventions as needed
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness topics to promote healthy lifestyles
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community resources to support student health
