Openings are available for both daytime and night school schedules, with assignments tailored for those who hold current New Jersey school nurse credentials. Work closely with students and staff, deliver critical health interventions, and play a vital role during the bustling summer session.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse licensure and school nurse certification in New Jersey
• Demonstrated school-based nursing experience required (clinical setting alone does not qualify)
• Successful completion of both agency and district fingerprinting processes
• TB screening and recent physical required
• Availability July 1–31, 2026, for either mornings (8:30AM–12:30PM) or evening hours (night school nurse; schedule TBD)
• Ready to support district needs throughout multiple school buildings
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite and able to report to location as required
• Must be credentialed and ready to start quickly
• Capable of participating in an interview via in-person meeting or Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily student health needs, including administration of medication and emergency responses
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy school environment
• Communicate health concerns to staff, students, and families as appropriate
• Provide district-wide nursing support as needed
