Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator’s License with Certified School Nurse Endorsement (required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Experience in school health services or pediatric care preferred
• Strong skills in conducting hearing and vision screenings
• Proven ability to update and maintain IEPs and Individual Health Plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the district’s sole Certified School Nurse, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the health and safety of students
• Conduct mandatory hearing and vision screenings for students as required by state guidelines
• Update, manage, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Health Plans for students with medical needs
• Collaborate with administrators, faculty, families, and a robust team of district RNs for holistic student care
• Provide ongoing health education, emergency response, and daily medical support in compliance with school protocols
