School Registered Nurse | Keene, New Hampshire

Make a real impact in a student’s life by serving as a 1:1 substitute Nurse for select dates this school year. This rewarding contract opportunity near Keene, NH, is perfect for skilled RNs or LPNs/LVNs with school nursing experience who are ready to provide dedicated, compassionate care.

You'll work closely with one student, ensuring safe and attentive support for a variety of medical needs. The schedule includes a mix of morning and full-day shifts on the following dates:

• February 2: 7–8:30 am (offering additional hours up to a half day)
• February 14, 15, 16: 7 am–2:30 pm
• March 13: 11 am–2:30 pm
• March 16: 7–8:30 am (additional hours possible up to a half day)
• March 25, 26, 27: 7 am–2:30 pm
• March 30, 31: 7 am–2:30 pm
• May 6, 7: 7 am–2:30 pm
• May 12, 13, 14: 7 am–2:30 pm

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing
• Prior experience with school nursing or pediatric care
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Skilled in G-tube feeding, bolus and pump feeds, monitoring vital signs, oral and nasal suctioning, and wound care
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage individualized care plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for a student during school hours
• Monitor and document vital signs, specifically heart rate and oxygen saturation
• Administer feeds via pump and G-tube
• Perform oral and nasal suctioning, as well as wound care as required
• Respond promptly to changes in the student’s condition
