A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available for the current school year in the Kenai, AK area, serving K-12 schools. This contract position offers two distinct roles to support student health and wellness throughout the school community.

Position 1 is based in the Central Kenai/Soldotna area, stationed at an elementary school. This role provides dedicated nursing services focused on early education students, promoting a safe and healthy learning environment.

Position 2 is an itinerant RN role in the Homer, AK area, providing coverage across multiple schools: one elementary, three K-12 schools, and one middle school. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage diverse healthcare needs across different educational settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health education
• Managing health plans for students with chronic conditions, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal health regulations in school settings
• Maintaining accurate health records and reporting as required

Qualifications include:
