A school registered nurse is needed to provide essential health services at an elementary school in Kerman, CA, supporting students and staff in a part-time capacity. This contract position offers approximately 16 hours per week onsite, with a focus on covering a temporary leave and assisting with Initial Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) at the preschool level. The assignment is expected to run from ASAP through June 4, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services in accordance with school health policies
• Provide coverage for the current school nurse during their leave of absence
• Assist with Initial IEP assessments and related health evaluations for preschool students
• Collaborate with education staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student well-being
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• California School Nurse Services Credential preferred (assistance available if not currently held)
