Key Requirements:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an educational environment

- Ability to respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to health protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer daily and emergency medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
- Assess student health concerns, manage chronic conditions, and address health needs as they arise
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student interactions and medical occurrences
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support individual health plans
- Promote a healthy and safe school environment through appropriate interventions and health education
- Stay up to date with required trainings and certifications
This role is ideal for an RN seeking consistent daytime hours—Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM—in a supportive educational setting. The initial contract spans from 7/27 to 8/14, with the possibility of renewal for the upcoming school year for those who thrive in the position.
