Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN license in the state of Indiana
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatrics is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to changing situations
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• A calm, reassuring presence with high attention to detail
• Willingness to provide one-on-one nursing care during school hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one care and support for a designated student with medical needs
• Administer medication, treatments, and monitor the student’s health status
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the student’s needs are met
• Maintain accurate health records and daily documentation
• Provide health education and support for the student and their family as needed
• Respond to health emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Foster a safe and inclusive school environment for all children
