School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Lehighton, Pennsylvania

What we’re looking for:

• Valid and current RN or LPN/LVN licensure in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus, but all clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Ability to respond swiftly and calmly in emergency situations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Flexibility to work as a substitute nurse and/or on offsite trips and camp assignments

What you'll do:

• Provide nursing care to students with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries during the school day and on field trips
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following specific care plans
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices
• Monitor overall health and safety during extracurricular activities and field excursions
• Collaborate with school staff, other nurses, and parents to support student needs
