Qualifications:

• Clear California School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred; open to candidates with a Preliminary CSN or RN license
• Previous school-based nursing experience desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in managing student care, including diabetes and the creation/implementation of Individual Health Plans (IHPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a district-wide RN/CSN supporting multiple school sites
• Train and support health clerks on student medical needs
• Provide consultation and review of student health documentation
• Assist with direct student care and develop IHPs
• Work preferred hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (potential for full 37.5–40-hour workweek)
• Ensure student health and safety throughout the district
