Qualifications:
- Clear California School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred; open to candidates with a Preliminary CSN or RN license
- Previous school-based nursing experience desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in managing student care, including diabetes and the creation/implementation of Individual Health Plans (IHPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a district-wide RN/CSN supporting multiple school sites
- Train and support health clerks on student medical needs
- Provide consultation and review of student health documentation
- Assist with direct student care and develop IHPs
- Work preferred hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (potential for full 37.5–40-hour workweek)
- Ensure student health and safety throughout the district
