As a school nurse supporting PreK through 3rd-grade students, you’ll work full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with a manageable caseload of approximately 500 children in one building. The initial assignment runs from September 8th to October 8th, with the exciting potential to extend to the full school year based on performance and mutual fit.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential in Pennsylvania
• School nursing experience, particularly with early childhood populations, strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to foster relationships with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily health services (first aid, medication administration, chronic care management)
• Support disease prevention and promote wellness throughout the school
• Maintain confidential health documentation for a caseload of 500 students
• Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure individualized care
