Registered Nurse School Setting in Lexington, SC

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license, with good standing in the state of South Carolina
• Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and clinical skills
• Familiarity with care planning, medication administration, and emergency response protocols
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer daily and emergency care to students, including medication delivery and first aid
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, documenting all care provided
• Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and outside healthcare providers to support each student’s well-being
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care, health plans, and accommodations for students with chronic health conditions or special needs
• Educate students and staff about health, wellness, and disease prevention topics
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding school healthcare practices
