School Registered Nurse (RN) in Lincoln, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN license in California
• Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Knowledge of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and 504/IEP processes
• Strong assessment, triage, and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Team player with a collaborative and flexible approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address student health needs, including chronic, acute, or emergency care
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and district protocols
• Maintain accurate health records and report critical data to relevant parties
• Participate in IEP/504/IHP meetings to support students with medical needs
• Educate students and staff on health practices, disease prevention, and general wellness
• Respond efficiently to health emergencies on campus
• Act as a liaison between families, medical providers, and school personnel
