A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Massachusetts license is needed to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting in Lincoln, MA. This contract position involves working closely with a medically fragile, non-verbal student who is wheelchair-bound and uses an iPad for communication. The role requires specialized skills including suctioning and seizure care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to a medically fragile student
  • Perform suctioning and manage seizure-related medical needs
  • Assist with daily health monitoring and medication administration
  • Support communication through the student’s iPad device
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe learning environment
  • Provide nursing support at other schools in the district during student absences

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts RN license (no LPNs accepted)
  • Experience with medically fragile pediatric patients
  • Proficient in seizure management and suctioning techniques
  • Ability to work full-time in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
