Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted GA RN or LPN license
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is highly preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with young students and staff
• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage confidential information
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students on-site each Wednesday (4 hours/week)
• Assess and manage student health concerns and chronic conditions
• Administer medications and respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate health records in compliance with school policies
• Educate students and staff on general health practices and wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with school teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
• Potential to expand responsibilities to a second day per week, based on initial performance and school needs
