School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Little Mountain, South Carolina

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
• Flexible mindset for adapting to daily changes in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency medical care to students.
• Develop and manage care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student health needs.
• Act as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to communicable disease concerns.
• Provide compassionate support for students experiencing minor illnesses or injuries.
• Liaise with families and external healthcare providers as needed.
