Per Diem Licensed Certified School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Littlerock, California

As a Registered Nurse with a Certified School Nurse credential or a Master’s in School Nursing, your role will be to conduct skills assessments for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). Your clinical insight and attention to detail will help ensure a safe and supportive environment for students requiring specialized care.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license
• Certified School Nurse credential or Master’s in School Nursing
• Demonstrated proficiency with tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube (g-tube) management, and ventilator support
• Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and document assessments accurately
• Current CPR certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform targeted skills assessments for LVNs who care for students with complex health needs
• Evaluate LVN competency with trach, g-tube, and ventilator care protocols
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments and provide feedback to staff and administration
• Support and advise LVNs on best practices and safety standards
• Collaborate with education and healthcare teams to promote student well-being
