School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Livonia, Michigan

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan
• Experience in school nursing or relevant clinical pediatric/child health background highly desirable
• Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and communication skills
• Able to respond calmly and effectively in urgent or emergency circumstances
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, managing health plans, and responding to minor injuries and acute health concerns
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote health and safety practices
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical needs
• Conduct health screenings, immunization monitoring, and documentation of care
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with confidentiality and privacy standards
• Offer health education presentations and resources to students and staff
