In this role, you'll serve as a 1:1 nurse for a student with a seizure disorder, primarily monitoring health and responding if symptoms arise. Your focus will be on safety, comfort, and maintaining consistent communication with parents, school staff, and transportation teams. Expect a split shift schedule: Monday through Friday mornings (6:45 - 8:45 am) and afternoons (12:45 - 3:45 pm) riding the bus to provide vigilant care—an excellent fit for candidates looking for steady, part-time hours.
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license valid in New York State
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in a school environment preferred
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Compassionate approach to student care and professional interactions

- Supervising and monitoring the student during bus transportation
