A healthcare professional with nursing credentials is needed to provide specialized care within a school-based transportation setting in Lockport, NY. This position supports a student during bus rides, focusing on monitoring and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing support for a student with a seizure disorder on the bus
• Monitor the student primarily for symptoms as seizures are infrequent
• Administer care during AM and PM bus rides following a split shift schedule
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being during transportation

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Ability to work split shifts early in the morning and mid-afternoon
• Strong observation and emergency response skills

Work Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday
• AM Shift: 6:45 AM to 8:45 AM
• PM Shift: 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM
