Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia is required
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care is highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 care to a medically fragile student throughout each school day
• Monitor and respond to the student’s health needs, following prescribed care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required
• Document all care given and maintain accurate, confidential health records
• Liaise with teachers and school staff to assure the student’s health and safety
• Educate, as appropriate, students and staff on health-related matters pertinent to the student’s care
