Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with preference for Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials
• Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is highly valued
• Understanding and ability to comply with state and federal health regulations for school-aged children
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate care and collaborate with families and school staff
• Ability to manage confidential health information effectively

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including emergency first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management for students
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special medical needs
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrative teams to support students’ health and academic success
• Conduct routine screenings, immunization compliance review, and health education initiatives
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure timely communication with parents and guardians
• Support infection control protocols and contribute to overall school safety measures
