A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential health services within a school environment, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This onsite position requires flexibility and a willingness to commute between multiple school campuses within the district. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of children in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students in PreK-8 grade levels
- Manage student health plans, administer medications, and respond to health emergencies
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
- Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
- Maintain accurate health records and complete required documentation
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- Comfortable commuting to various school campuses within the district
- Ability to complete required fingerprints and CORI background check
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Experience working in school nursing or related pediatric health care preferred
Position Details:
- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 18, 2026
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, 40 hours per week
- Onsite only; no remote work available
