Registered Nurse School Setting - Lowell, MA

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a meaningful, student-focused role in a local school setting! This contract position centers on providing dedicated, one-on-one nursing care for a 20-year-old student attending school in Concord. You'll accompany the student during transportation and throughout the school day, offering support with daily health needs, including potential suctioning, while ensuring a safe and responsive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Experience or comfort with suctioning and 1:1 care
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, individualized nursing care for the assigned student
• Accompany the student during school transportation, monitoring for safety and providing suctioning as needed
• Support the student’s participation in daily school activities and routines
• Communicate updates and concerns promptly with school staff and healthcare providers
