Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
• Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or similar environment preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and school personnel
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and manage health plans for chronic conditions
• Adaptable and calm under pressure, with excellent organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and manage the health needs of students during the school day
• Administer medications and first aid as needed, following physician orders and school procedures
• Develop, implement, and review individualized healthcare plans
• Communicate with families about student health concerns and coordinate care as necessary
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state laws and school regulations
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics, supporting a safe and healthy campus environment
