School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Lowell, Massachusetts

Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts

• Ability to manage feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, and seizure monitoring
• Familiarity with individual healthcare plans (IHPs) and educational team collaboration
• Must be comfortable supporting a single student all day, including bus transport
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct nursing care to a designated student, including specialized medical needs
• Monitoring for seizure activity and responding promptly
• Managing and maintaining a feeding tube and trach as part of daily care
• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
• Accompanying the student on and off the bus, ensuring health and safety during transit
• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to promote student success
