9th Grade 4th Grade Registered Nurse School Setting - Lowell, MA

This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced RN who thrives in dynamic settings and enjoys supporting students across multiple grade levels, from first grade through tenth grade. As a trusted healthcare presence on campus, you’ll collaborate closely with staff, students, and families to ensure individualized, compassionate pediatric care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts, in good standing
• Experience with pediatric nursing, particularly in school or youth settings
• Comfort with 1:1 care for students at various developmental stages (grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement care plans tailored to each student’s unique health needs
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with students across a range of grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing services and medical oversight for assigned students during the school day
• Monitor, manage, and document chronic or acute health conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and support specialized medical needs as required
• Act as a liaison between school personnel, families, and healthcare providers to optimize student care
• Educate students and staff about health and wellness best practices
• Respond to medical emergencies swiftly and effectively
