Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Previous experience in 1:1 pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Proven ability to adapt to varying student needs across grade levels
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable, organized, and caring approach
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care for assigned students, ensuring medical interventions are completed per healthcare plans
- Support and monitor students in 1st through 5th, 9th, and 10th grades
- Administer medications, treatments, and manage daily health needs
- Document care provided and maintain confidential health records
- Serve as a resource to school staff for health and safety education
- Communicate regularly with families and care teams regarding student health and medical updates
