Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Prior experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with legal compliance, documentation, and best practices relating to school health care

- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to medical and health-related situations
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate care for illness and injury on campus, managing situations with calm and confidence
- Administer prescribed medications and support students with chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and health records for students and staff
- Educate students and personnel on wellness, hygiene, disease prevention, and health protocols
- Act as a liaison between families, teachers, and health providers to ensure optimal student care
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies regarding student health and safety
- Participate in planning and implementing individualized healthcare plans and emergency response procedures
