School Registered Nurse (RN) in Lugoff, SC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in a school environment or pediatric nursing preferred
• Ability to respond effectively to a variety of student health needs, including emergencies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with individualized health care plans (IHPs), 504 Plans, and medication administration policies
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Adaptability and a positive attitude when working with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including daily medication administration and management of chronic health conditions
• Develop and implement health plans to address students’ medical needs in collaboration with educators and families
• Conduct health screenings and disseminate health information to students and staff
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records in compliance with state regulations
• Lead and support health-related programs, promoting wellness throughout the school community
