What We’re Looking For:
- Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN nursing license
- Experience in a school setting or pediatric care strongly preferred
- Familiarity with common childhood illnesses and chronic health conditions
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate health care plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain)
- Compassion, adaptability, and sound judgment in fast-paced situations
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct nursing care for students, including administering medications and treatments
- Respond promptly to illness or injury, performing assessments and interventions as necessary
- Create and maintain health care plans for students with medical needs or chronic conditions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students’ well-being
- Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, and chronic condition management
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policy
