Registered Nurse School Setting in Lynn, MA

Step into a valued role supporting students and faculty as a Registered Nurse in a vibrant high school setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference as part of a dedicated health services team. The assignment runs from ASAP for up to 12 weeks, covering 35 hours per week, with workdays from 7:15am to 2:15pm. You’ll be collaborating closely with other skilled RNs and LPNs to ensure the well-being of the entire school community.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (required)
• Previous school nursing experience or pediatric care background highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to student health needs
• Compassionate communicator, able to relate effectively with adolescents, parents, and school staff
• Organized, attentive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in maintaining health records and adhering to confidentiality guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for student illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
• Dispense medications and administer treatments per physician orders and district protocols
• Collaborate with a team of nurses to monitor and support student health throughout the school day
• Serve as a resource for health education, prevention, and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive, supportive environment for students
