Registered Nurse School Setting - Mahomet, IL

This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses with experience in elementary and middle school environments. What you bring:

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing
• Strong clinical background, including legal knowledge relevant to school nursing
• Experience with pediatric care, especially in school settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
• Great communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

What you’ll do:

• Deliver day-to-day healthcare services for students in elementary and middle school buildings
• Manage student medication administration, first aid, and care for minor illnesses or injuries
• Provide health education and support to students and school personnel
• Maintain accurate health records, support individualized health plans, and ensure compliance with local and state regulations
• Communicate with parents, staff, and outside healthcare providers as needed
