Bring your expertise in school nursing to a vibrant educational environment as a floater nurse, supporting K-12 students across multiple campuses in the area. In this contract role, you’ll provide essential care and coverage across several nearby schools, offering critical support wherever you’re most needed. This full-time opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 8 AM to 4 PM onsite only.
Your adaptability and commitment to student health will ensure seamless nursing coverage and continuity of care as you commute between campuses (the farthest just six miles away). A valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license and previous experience in school settings are essential for success in this role.
About this role:
- Full-time, 40-hour workweeks, Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4 PM
- Contract assignment running from mid-August through mid-June
- Onsite position providing coverage across multiple campuses supporting K-12 students
- Flexibility in working at various locations within close proximity
- Must be willing and able to commute between campuses (up to six miles apart)
- Zoom interview required
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- Documented experience in a school-based nursing role
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and CORI background checks
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting among campuses
- Comfortable working a fixed schedule; accommodations to the set hours are not available
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
