Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Experience in pediatric care, especially in school or clinical settings
• Strong ability to provide 1:1 nursing care to students with varied health needs
• Knowledge of common childhood conditions, medications, and emergency protocols
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and healthcare teams
• Adaptability to work with students of different ages and developmental levels
• CPR and First Aid certification
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day 1:1 nursing care to assigned students, supporting their unique health needs
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor vital signs and respond to medical issues swiftly
• Maintain accurate health records and care documentation
• Communicate student progress and pertinent health information to parents and school staff
• Support students academically by providing a safe, healthy environment
• Educate students, families, and staff on relevant health topics as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on care plans when required
