Registered Nurse School Setting - Marlborough, MA

Step into a meaningful contract assignment supporting student health and wellbeing in a vibrant school environment. This urgent opening, running from ASAP to December 1st, 2026, is tailored for an RN seeking a consistent schedule—35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 3:15pm. Working with an elementary school serving approximately 540 children in PreK through 3rd grade, you will play a central role in creating a safe, nurturing space for students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active RN licensure (required)
• Prior pediatric or school nursing experience (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability with tube-feeding, catheter care, and diabetic management
• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, diverse school atmosphere
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive daily nursing care for students’ acute and chronic health needs
• Develop tailored health care plans and manage medications and procedures as required
• Deliver age-appropriate health education to students and staff
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside healthcare teams to ensure optimal care
• Maintain accurate student health records and monitor compliance with health protocols
