Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license is required
• Experience in pediatric settings or previous school nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with tube feeding, catheter management, and diabetic care
• Compassionate communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to health emergencies and daily student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including management of chronic conditions and acute illnesses
• Administer medications, perform necessary procedures, and maintain accurate health records
• Coordinate with staff and parents to support student wellness and individualized health plans
• Educate students on healthy habits and basic hygiene
• Ensure compliance with state and school health policies
• Collaborate with administrators and teachers to create a safe and nurturing environment
