Registered Nurse School Setting - Marlborough, MA

This full-time, contract position involves providing compassionate, responsive nursing care to students in a variety of school settings, totaling 37.5 hours per week over the complete school year.

Desired Background and Experience:

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently while floating between multiple schools
• Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and faculty
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification (required)
• Ability to respond to emergencies and manage chronic conditions independently
• Demonstrated organizational skills and flexible approach to new settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, and emergency response
• Maintain student health records and communicate health concerns to staff and parents
• Support IEPs, 504 plans, and individualized student health plans as necessary
• Work closely with other school nurses and district health teams to provide consistent care
• Promote wellness and infection control throughout the school community
• Serve as a health education resource for students and staff
