Registered Nurse School Setting - Marysville, WA

Exciting contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking impactful work within a school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role, based near Marysville, WA, provides the chance to support students ranging in age from preschool (3 years old) through young adulthood (22 years old). The position is part time, offering a guaranteed 25 hours per week. As a substitute RN, you’ll deliver essential care across varying school sites, adapting to different schedules and student needs.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current and valid RN licensure in Washington State required
• School nursing experience, or pediatric nursing background strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing health services to students aged 3–22
• Flexibility to work at various schools with hours of operation between 6am and 4pm
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover nursing duties as a substitute RN in a school environment: assessments, medication administration, and emergency care
• Promote positive student health and respond to health needs across multiple age ranges
• Maintain accurate records and documentation following established policies and procedures
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to ensure students’ well-being
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics as needed
