School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Mchenry, Illinois

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with certification as a School Nurse (CSN) to provide essential health services during the Extended School Year (ESY) summer program. This position is based in McHenry, IL, at a high school setting and offers a contracted role supporting students' healthcare needs throughout the summer months.

Key Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential preferred
• Experience working within school environments or pediatric populations
• Ability to manage and deliver nursing care tailored to adolescent students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of school health policies and emergency response procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and support to students during the ESY summer program
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and manage health conditions to ensure student safety and well-being
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions
