Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license (state requirements must be met)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Commitment to supporting the physical and emotional well-being of students
• Competence in routine care (medication administration, first aid, record-keeping)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care to students and staff as needed
• Monitor and manage chronic and acute health conditions on campus
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and district policy
• Develop Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) in collaboration with families and school teams
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records
• Educate students and staff about health, hygiene, and preventive care
• Act as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school personnel
