A temporary Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide onsite nursing services for an elementary school in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position is to cover a maternity leave and runs from March 10, 2026, through June 5, 2026. The role involves delivering comprehensive school nursing care within the school setting, supporting a caseload that includes 1.5 Licensed School Nurses and 1 health paraprofessional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students as needed
• Manage and maintain accurate student health records
• Collaborate with school staff to support student health plans and wellness initiatives
• Assist with care coordination for students requiring special health services
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary
• Participate in health education and promotion activities within the school community

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Experience in school nursing preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent health concerns
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
• Valid nursing license must be provided with application
