Registered Nurse School Setting - Minneapolis, MN

A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Minneapolis, MN. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is committed to promoting student health and wellness throughout the entire school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessments, treatments, and health screenings.
• Manage chronic and acute health conditions in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency protocols.
• Administer medications and ensure proper documentation of all nursing activities.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Maintain compliance with state and local health regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive health information with confidentiality.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
