Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license in Minnesota (unencumbered and in good standing)
- Previous experience in a school setting, adolescent health, or pediatric care preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with faculty, parents, and healthcare providers
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in medical emergencies
- Comfortable working independently with a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care for student illnesses and injuries, administering first aid and medication as needed
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
- Perform health screenings and maintain comprehensive health records in compliance with school policies
- Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and guardians to support the academic success and well-being of students
