1:1 Pediatric 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) in Minneapolis, MN

Bring your expertise as a Registered Nurse to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an educational environment near Minneapolis, MN. You’ll play a key role in the daily well-being of your assigned student(s), offering both medical expertise and compassionate support, while collaborating with school staff and families to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active RN license in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
• Background in 1:1 care, especially with children requiring individualized health support
• Knowledge of health protocols for various grade levels (elementary and high school)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to effectively respond to emergencies and implement care plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering one-on-one nursing care to assigned student(s), supporting specific health needs throughout the school day
• Administering medications and treatments according to individualized plans
• Monitoring and documenting health status, updates, and progress
• Responding promptly to medical incidents, ensuring safety and continuity of care
• Providing education and advocacy for healthy habits and medical understanding for students and staff
• Communicating with teachers, parents, and allied professionals regarding student needs
