School Registered Nurse (RN) in Missouri City, TX

Here’s a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to make a difference in a high school environment. This full-time contract position is based at a campus serving students in grades 9-12, providing essential nursing care and daily support to a small group of high schoolers. The assignment requires on-site care and hands-on engagement, ensuring the well-being of students in need of clinical and personal assistance.

What You’ll Bring:

• A current Texas RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational, clinical, or pediatric setting.
• Ability to complete state-required fingerprinting and background check prior to the assignment.
• A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility, warmth, and a positive attitude in challenging or sensitive situations.

Role Overview:

• Provide daily nursing care within a classroom, focusing on safety and support for three high school students with specialized needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a caring, responsive environment.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring students as needed throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate health records while preserving student confidentiality.
• Be available Monday through Friday from 8AM – 4PM for the full academic year through late May.
